Alongside exhibitions and productions, Jacek Ludwig Scarso has developed a wide ranging educational programme exploring the performance methodologies used in Elastic Theatre’s work. Combining vocal music, text and movement, this programme consists of workshops and courses tailored to open level contexts, as well as Higher Education and professional ones.

Current collaborations include London Metropolitan University (Elastic Theatre’s performance research is in residence as part of Theatre & Performance at London Met), Royal Opera House, Exeter University (CREAT-IT), National Centre for Circus Arts and London Contemporary Dance School. Worldwide partners have included Bilingual Acting Workshop (Paris / New York), RESEO (Brussels), NOA Opera (Vilnius), CREARC (Grenoble), Istituto Teatrale Europeo (Rome), the Living Theatre (New York) and Stord Hougesund

University College (Norway). Jacek’s research extends into theoretical contexts and he regularly lectures in performance studies, art theory, theatre and dance history, critical theory and post-dramatic practices.
