JULIUS ActII, supported by the Wellcome Trust and the Jerwood Charitable Foundation, in collaboration with Savage Mills. Following its critically acclaimed season at GV Art Gallery in London’s West End, the full version JULIUS will premiere at Spitalfields Music Festival (7-14 JUNE 2013) before an international tour. Elastic Theatre announced as the Winner of the FRINGE REPORT AWARD for BEST THEATRE COMPANY, presented at Leicester Square Theatre. Elastic Theatre is also featured amongst the 300 most influential companies worldwide in contemporary theatre trends in the US publication Theatre Today. INTERNATIONAL EVENTS : Following our recent NEW YORK workshop in collaboration with The Living Theater, Elastic Theatre recently launched the making of JULIUS at the Pave D’Orsay in Paris, as part of BAW‘s New Voices New Projects. Jacek Ludwig Scarso also presented workshops for the RESEO Conference at the Staatstheater Stuttgart (Germany) and for the Opera Europa Conference at the Opera National de Lyon.
Jacek Ludwig Scarso invited again by Royal Opera House Thurrock Choral Festival, directing 6 choirs and the audience to sing a World Music piece: details available soon.
