Sandra Shirley – Actress

Sandra graduated on the BA (Hons) Performing Arts at London Metropolitan University. She featured as lead actress in Vocal Motions Elastic Theatre’s Medea Made Medea, for which she received vivid acclaim both in the UK and in France where the show toured. Following Medea, her recent performance in The Magdalene Mysteries as the title role was praised by the critics as “superb“, “captivating” and “powerful“. Sandra combines her passion for text work with the one for physical theatre and, alongside her acting work, is currently exploring innovative ways in which performance and education can inform one another.
