Eva Caballero – Musician
Eva began her musical studies in her native Barcelona. In 2001 she was awarded a Spanish government scholarship to study at Trinity College of Music. She also studied baroque flute at Royal Academy of Music.
Eva has won numerous awards as a chamber music performer in the UK and Spain, including XIII Paper de Música de Capellades, Premi Ciutat Manresa, IX Pòdiums de St. Joan de Vilatorrada and the Anglo-Czech Trust Competition. She has also performed with orchestras including The New Queen’s Hall Orchestra, Britten-Pears Baroque Orchestra, Cöthen Baroque, Kings College London Baroque Orchestra among others. Her festival appearances include ‘Mind, Body, Spirit Festival’, ‘The Hellenic Festival’, ‘Brighton Early Music Festival’ and ‘The Early Music Festival’ in London, ‘Athens Music Festival’ in Greece and ‘Portello River Festival’ in Italy.
Eva is a participant in the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment Experience Scheme for talented young players this year.
