Concerts
Alongside our theatre productions, Elastic Theatre commissions its collaborating singers to feature in a wide range of concerts and work together with innovative composers. The eclectic musical backgrounds of our performers means that we can explore the most diverse styles, from Classical to Jazz, World, New Age and experimental.
Elastic Theatre’s singers have received regular bookings across Europe, with their performances being described as “awe-inspiring” and “almighty” in recent reviews on Music OMH and Time Out. We welcome bookings for private events too, including both solo and ensemble concerts which we are happy to cater flexibly for our clients’ musical preferences. For enquiries, please contact us.
To date, the Singers have performed in the UK, Poland, France, Italy and Portugal, and also featured in the Bicentenary Ceremony of the End of Slave Trade at Bloomsbury Central Church in Covent Garden, and, at the same venue, in a site-specific concert entitled Angels and other Stratospheric Themes. Recent and current concerts have been collaborations with Daniel Biro and Jim Cuomo for Sargasso Label, presented at Kings Place, London.
