Workshops

In conjunction with Borderline Opera , Vocal Motions Elastic Theatre launches its new educational programme. This includes open level workshops as well as professional intensives. All our workshops involve specialists from our company, respectively in the fields of vocal music, contemporary dance and text and devising work.

Our cross-disciplinary ethos is key to our educational programme. Upon request, our workshops can be based on the following themes:
• Combining DANCE and VOICE
• Combining TEXT-WORK and SINGING
• Combining VOCAL STYLES
• Combining MUSIC THEATRE and IMPROVISATION
• Workshops based on our CURRENT PRODUCTIONS

Our unique training methodology, conceived by Jacek Ludwig Scarso, author of Voce per Ogni Giorno (Armando Editore), has been explored in conjunction with leading institutions such as London Metropolitan University, Teatro Integrato Internazionale (Rome), Accademia Teatrale di Roma, Centre de Creation de Recherche et des Cultures (Grenoble), Gdansk Shakespeare Festival (Poland), London Contemporary Dance School, East 15 Acting School and the European Theatre Institute (ETI).
